The ELATED Love PageKit for Internet Magazine readme.
www.elated.com
The idea behind the Elated PageKits is that you can either use the ideas here as is, and develop them from our startpoints, or you can take the bits that you need (like the basic frameset) and customise them for your own use. Obviously, to make the best use of them you'll need to know some basic html.
We have a full free art section on our website at www.elated.com/toolbox. Check it out!
If the menu is not exactly what you are looking for then you can do your own and just slot the new gifs into the file menu.html. The existing menu font is Arial bold. Mostly Times New Roman elsewhere.
The picture is a Photoshopped photo taken by us at one of our houses. This Kit was done on a AppleMac 7600 using Photoshop 4 and SimpleText. The quote is obviously the opening lines from Romeo & Juliet.
The following is a load of stuff relating to internal & external links for a framed site.
FRAMESETS.
Remember the frame golden rule. TARGETS. These tell your code where to put a page in the frameset, and refer back to the NAME tag on the index page. I.e., if you wanted to put a page in the big frame the target would be "main" in the link tag, where the given name for the frame is "main" in index.html Look at the source for the menu to see it in action.
